Rick - Shortly after the battle, go to Hassan again, and you will find him there. Rohde - He will join the force shortly after you beat Taros in the Taros shrine. After beating off her men the Force confronts her as she reveals she came here as the elder is the only one there who knows of the Caravan and they capture him as they escape. Mishaela attacks the village when they return and they fight off her forces. They agree to recheck the temple and find Ruburan and bring him back. In Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict the Shining force regroups here after their 1st encounter with Mishaela. Some, but not all, require you to be promoted. Once you beat Taros, another weapon dealer will appear, that has upgraded weapons. He will then follow you around for a little bit, before joining you later on. You will find Rohde here If you had already gotten the Achilles Sword in Ribble, Rohde will ask what smells old. You have to beat the Kraken to get to here. Hassan was a port town, but due to not trading, the town became desolate. These days I go by name of Righteous Force. Hassan is a port town in Shining Force II: Ancient Sealing. StHA is the only Shining game where I recall that seems to require grinding ASAP at one point (the sewers/first temple or whatever its called after you talk to old some old wise man).
